About the expert: Betty Bonnardel MBE is the founder and CEO of a London-based SME offering innovative solutions in an enabled environment, including digitisation, use of sensors and new technologies for the nuclear sector. An award-winning chartered engineer, Betty holds two master’s degrees in Aeronautical and Space Engineering, a Diploma in International Nuclear Law and a Master of Business Administration. Thanks to her role at the World Nuclear Transport Institute for 10 years, Betty acted as an expert in transport regulations and operations for the whole nuclear fuel cycle, attending regulatory meetings at IAEA, UNCTDG, ICAO, IMO and successfully updating regulations for the safe, secure and reliable transport of radioactive materials. As a Communications Director for the transport chain, she also developed good practice guides and standards. Betty has also been a coach for IAEA training courses. She is a 4D Sustainability Canvas certified instructor.
